She is one of Gospel music’s most passionate and influential Artists. She inspires others to do good within their communities and to love others, as she lives this out by example, from the Word of God that inspires her to do so. Kenekie’s Angelic and Commanding voice are coupled with messages that move the heart and soul. Kenekie blends together different elements of Worship, Inspirational lyrics, Contemporary Gospel, some upbeats and Latin that creates memorable musical collages that are undoubtedly her own. Her singing style has been compared to CeCe Winans, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. Throughout Kenekie’s life she has sung from the heart, and she expresses God’s love and care through song. Kenekie Williams travelled the world as a child with her military family, spending part of her childhood in Panama and Germany. Today she travels the world on a different mission, specifically Kenekie’s mission involves “Ministering God’s Word in Song, Word and Deed/Acts of Love.” She now resides in Metro Atlanta, Georgia where she is actively involved in ministry, singing, songwriting, song publishing, her business and established independent music label, “Love PerformingArts Productions.” Diverse audiences are reached by her music style. Kenekie was a previous Professional Member of Gospel Music Association (GMA) and is an American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) Song Writer and Publisher Member. She is an ASCAP Plus Award recipient for her songs playing on radio and TV programs. She also has another established Publishing name with Broadcast Music Inc (BMI). Kenekie worked with Billy Rogers, an accomplished Musician, Music Producer and Founder of Way2 Be Music International. They recorded her CD project titled “Faithful” that Kenekie was Executive Producer of. Kenekie was featured on WATC TV 57, “The Gospel Touch” TV Show and “Babbie’s House” TV show in 2012 and she was invited back on Babbie’s House in 2018, where she was interviewed and sung songs off her CD. She was also featured many numerous times on “Atlanta Live” WATC TV 57 on a two hour show singing songs from her CD live. In January 2016 Kenekie sung and was interviewed on NBC affiliated, Channel 11 News/ Atlanta & Company. She has sung and spoken words of inspiration on many more broadcasted shows. She hosted Kenekie’s ‘Agape Today’ radio show with Invitation 2 Inspiration, Rhythm Rave Radio. Kenekie was the inspirational singer at the 2012 Business Superstar Awards held at the magnificent Georgian Terrace Hotel. Kenekie was a special guest at The Best of Sweet Auburn Revue 2011 and sung at many church conferences. A write up of accolades was done on her in the Sweet Auburn A&E Network Newsletter. She is featured in Cross Roads Newspaper for her participation in a women’s empowerment conference. Kenekie was chosen to be Artist of The Month in Gospel Talk Magazine, where an article write-up was done on her. Kenekie and her songs were featured on WIGO “The Light” 1570 radio program, Love 860, WYZE Radio 1480 and many other radio programs. Kenekie’s songs were played on Kiss 104.1 FM on Twanda Black’s “Good News Gospel” program. Kenekie’s songs are played in circulation on DjHiPrayze International Internet Radio with Brian Brooks, and World-Wide Rhythm Rave Radio “Invitation to Inspiration,” on many other Internet Radio programs, and on more Radio Stations Nationwide. Her previous written songs, “Promises” and “Call Him Up” play on radio in London, England. January 3, 2014 Kenekie sung songs from her CD as opening songs before Christian Music Artist, Aaron Shust concert at Global Winter Wonderland on Turner Field in Atlanta, GA. Kenekie has sung at the prestigious Pinnacle Awards & Scholarship Gala produced by Live Healthy & Thrive Youth Foundation, Inc in December 2015-2017, 2019 and in 2021. She has a large international following of people from different Nations. In the years 2001 and 2002 Kenekie worked as an active recording artist with producer, Jeroan Adams. She wrote and sung lyrics to the songs “Call Him Up” and “Promises,” which are on a compilation CD which she was a featured Recording Artist on. In 2002, she participated in the Unity Day Festival, which incorporated different ethnicities. In August of 2003 she sung at a large Blacks in Government Conference in Denver, Colorado before many thousands of people. Kenekie has sung at many weddings, festivals, special events such as the Annual Pink & Black Ball in years 2013-2015 and again in 2018, honoring cancer survivors where Congressman Hank Johnson was the MC one year, graduations, promotion and retirement ceremonies of Colonels in the U.S. Army, military functions, cafés, restaurants, church events, churches such as Bishop Bronner’s “Word of Faith,” ministry lines, tv networks and stage play productions. Kenekie played the role of an Angel in 2005 and 2013, in the play production she wrote and produced within her Love PerformingArts Productions, “A Special Day.” She also played a significant role as an Angel, acting alongside Melba Moore in the 2014 play “One Sunday Morning” written by Felecia Johnson. She has acted, sang and danced in the plays she has written and been involved in. Kenekie has volunteered her service of singing at Healing Bridge Clinic, a non-profit free clinic for those having hardship, and she gives services of Song & Word Ministry at Ansley Health & Rehabilitation Center. She also serves our Nations Veterans by ministering to them in song with music/singing therapy on Chaplin Spirituality Groups held for the Veterans. Through all the singing engagements, Kenekie has inspired, encouraged and ministered to people in song. She is utilizing her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)/ Healthcare Management Degree with the establishment of her ministry and business, “Kenekie Ministries-Services & Love PerformingArts Productions,” which includes her independent music label and entertainment production, “Love PerformingArts Productions.” Her Production mission involves, “Performing Arts in Love for the Glory of God, with Positive Entertainment.” Within her Production Kenekie uses her singing, songwriting, dancing and acting talents and likes to help others, giving them a platform to use their talents in a positive light. She has more dreams for the future. Her CD/Album “Faithful” encourages people to keep the faith through hard times. God has been Faithful and we should be Faithful to Him. As an adult virgin for thirty-two years, she has been an inspiration to young women everywhere with her message that love does indeed wait; and that God’s grace and love can help every person resist the temptation and negative messages so prominent in the world today.
